*Normally, we don't make products with nitrates. Due to a processing error, these sticks were made with sodium nitrite. Weston A Price has 3 different categories for preservatives - best, good, and bad. Sodium nitrite falls within the good, so we felt comfortable selling this, but are selling it at a discount.
Tasty, nutritious, and filling beef snack stick made from our 100% grass-fed beef! 1oz individually packaged sticks. No MSG, no chemical preservatives! An excellent healthy snack/convenience food, and it doesn't need to be refrigerated! In dehydrating, the 1oz of snack stick was made from 38% more beef (you are just not paying for the water!)--i.e., don't underestimate how much food and nutrition is in this 1 oz. stick!
