July 4th Grill Out Ideas-- We've Got Your Favorites in Stock!

We have lots of great options to get your July 4th grill out started!

FRESH CHICKEN: whole birds or any of the parts (especially these awesome Heritage Cross chickens!)

SAUSAGES & HOT DOGS: We are well stocked on all our sausages and hotdogs... with a variety like Chorizo, Mild Italian, Hot Italian,Original Pork Brats, Beef Brats,
Beef Hotdogs, Lamb Sage Grillers, and more!

HAMBURGER: We have lots of options here. Our standard ground beef, our pre-made hamburger patties, our keto-ground beef (which is super tasty and has 20% pork fat mixed in!), and our ground round (which is a leaner ground beef, closer to 5% fat). (And you might wanna pick up some bacon to put on your burger!?)

BEEF STEAKS: We are well stocked on all our steaks.

RIBS: We have lots of pork and beef ribs!

VEGETABLES: I know that JP and Kathryn are harvesting in their garden today, so lots of great organically raised, super-fresh produce, like lettuce, squash, zucchini, kale, chard, cucumbers, bunching onions, beets, kohlrabi, and more.

I was processing chickens on Wednesday, and one of the 12 year olds who
is on our Poultry Processing Crew and I were talking about food (of
course).


He mentioned, with a only slightly hidden grin of pride, how after his
first paycheck from Whiffletree earlier this year, he took his dad out
to dinner.


What a son! I loved hearing that.


We have awesome people on our Poultry Processing Crew.


I am grateful.


And this picture is a fresh boneless skinless breast that we parted out
today, which happens to be in the shape of a heart, and you can happen
to pick up in the Farm Store for July 4th!

Or for another day in July too.


Lesson learned from this 12 year old: Take your loved ones out for a meal, or make them a meal!
